Thank you for being a part of the Chic And Unique Markets put on by GLP Events. These markets are a great way to not only sell products but also to meet new customers, interact with other vendors, create new relationships and have a fun time while doing it. This contract below is broken into sections by venue. Please click the link below for the markets you are participating in to receive all the information you will need. You can also reach out in our vendor only Facebook group and we will be more than glad to help. Please do not send us messages directly on our personal Facebook pages. This makes sure we have a central location to answer your questions.

Shelby Twp Contract & Market Info
Market Dates / June 2nd, August 4th and October 13th, 2024
Location / 49965 Van Dyke. Shelby Twp, MI (Packard Proving Grounds)
Market Hours / 11a-4p
Setup for these markets are only available the morning of. This market will have approximately 140 booth spots outdoors and all on grass. There are only 12 indoor booth spots also.
Setup, Check In & Unloading Info
Setup is available only on market morning (Sunday) starting at 8a, no earlier. All vehicles must be through the gates by 10:30a as the gates will get blocked off. When you arrive, we will have someone at the main road directing you where to go unless you know where your spot is and then you can drive right to it. Everyone will be able to pull up their spot except those that are indoors. Depending on the section you are in, you can leave your car at your booth. This will be communicated when we send out the layout and spot assignment. Electricity is only available indoors.
Booth Area & Presentation For Outdoor Vendors
Everyone who is outdoors will have a 10×10 space and those spaces are setup on grass. You will have a little extra space on the sides of your tent for display if needed. You must have a canopy type tent but it can be any color you would like. All tents must be weighed down or staked. Both are preferred. No tables or chairs are provided so please have your own setup. Any and all garbage must be taken with you and disposed of. You may not sublease your space to anyone else. There’s also no sharing of a booth. The only people allowed to sell or display in your area are those whose names are shown on the registration. We ask that no one leave their booth unattended. If you need to use the bathroom or grab food, please ask someone to watch your booth for you. One of our staff would be glad to watch it for you.
Booth Area & Presentation For Indoor Vendors
The indoor spots are also 10×10 but you will have no extra room to the side or front of you. Indoors there are only 12 vendors. No tables or chairs are provided for you. A canopy tent with top cannot be used but you are more than welcome to use your frame without a top.
Takedown & End Of Market
There are no early takedowns allowed until the market is over at 4p. If you begin taking down early, you will not be allowed to participate in any future events. We understand that each event is a long day but customers who come at the end deserve the same experience as those that came when the market first opens.
We know that everyone will want to get out as quickly as possible. With this, we will not allow any cars driving into the market area until 4:15. This allows us to get all the customers out and to make sure we control traffic in a safe manner.
Food Trucks & Trailer Spots
For those of you with food trucks or a trailer spot, you will be setting up on grass. There is no power provided so please make sure to have your own generator if power is needed. There are no water hook ups either but they do have a small kitchen if you needed to fill small water jugs.
Food Vendors
Food may only be sold by pre-approved vendors. All food vendors must follow the Michigan Cottage Food Laws or be licensed. Please make sure to make a note on your registration form if your booth includes any sort of food items.
Insurance
We are not responsible for any of your items due to weather, lost, stolen or damage. We are also not responsible for any injury or bodily harm. You are responsible to carry your own insurance and have a copy of it at every market.
Severe Weather
In the event of severe weather, we may decide to postpone the market and move to a future date or worst case scenario, have to cancel that event for the year. If this happens, you are automatically into the new market date or the market the following year. If for some reason you cannot make the new date, your money will be applied to a credit on your account with us. This credit never expires and can be used for any Chic and Unique Market that we do. This information will be communicated via our Facebook vendor page and email so please join to have the most up to date information.
Cancellations
We do not provide refunds if you are unable to attend or you cancel an event. If you cancel and the event is more than 60 days away, we will then roll any money paid to a future event as a credit with us. If you cancel within 60 days of a market, you unfortunately will not receive any credit to a future event. If you do not show to a market without contacting us prior to the start of the event, you will be removed from any future markets you paid for without a refund. You also will not be able to participate in any future Chic & Unique markets or any other GLP Events.
Covid Policy/Governor Orders Policy
In the event a market has to be canceled due to the COVID-19 situation, Governor orders or any other circumstances out of our control, everyone that has already paid for the market will receive a credit towards a future market of their choice. This can be any Chic And Unique market or any other event put on by GLP Events.
Customer Raffles & Giveaways
We will be doing giveaways to all of our markets on social media. If you are interested in donating a gift card to your business for a giveaway, please let us know. This is a great way to get your product in the customer’s hands and to help promote your business.
Advertising
Everyone wants to see all of these events become a success and with that, we need your help with advertising. With each event having over 100 vendors, we ask you all to please help out with promoting the events. The more people that everyone brings in, the more successful everyone will be. We have Facebook, Instagram & Tik Tok that we use. So make sure you are following us on all social media and sharing (all links will be posted below). We also promote our events in newspapers, flyers, paid social media, Google, billboards, Michigan event websites, street signs, mailings, banners and more. If you need copies of flyers or anything else, please ask us and we will provide them.

One thing we let everyone know is to make as many contacts and connections as possible because that is the main purpose of these shows. Market Dates / May 11th, 2024 and September 21st, 2024
Location / 37700 Six Mile Rd. Livonia, MI (Laurel Park Mall Parking Lot)
Market Hours / 10a – 4p
Setup, Check In & Unloading Info
The Livonia markets take place on a Saturday. Setup for this market is available on the night before (Friday) from 4p-7p. The area is fenced off and we do have a security guard that stays overnight. We are not responsible for any theft, loss, damage, etc to items that are left overnight. Setup on Saturday morning will start at 7:30a. When you arrive, someone will be near the pull in area to direct you. We will try our best to pull you up to your spot but just in case, be prepared to cart your items a short distance. Please have your own carts.

Market Dates / November 16th, 2024
Location / 14500 E Twelve Mile Rd. Warren, MI (Macomb Sports & Expo Center at Macomb Community College)
Market Hours / 10a – 4p
Setup, Check In & Unloading Info
The Macomb Expo market takes place on a Saturday. Setup for this market is available on the night before (Friday) from 4p-7p. Setup on Saturday morning will start at 7:30a. When you arrive, someone will be near the unloading area to check you in and direct you. No one is able to drive into the venue. All items will have to be carted through a couple garage doors to your space. It can be a few hundred feet to your spot depending on where you are at. Please have your own carts. We are going to try and get a local organization to help unload vehicles but we can’t guarantee if we will have the extra help.
Booth Area & Presentation For Indoor Vendors
Everyone will have a 10×10 space unless you purchase two booths. There will be no extra room on the sides, front or back of you. No trailers are allowed inside the venue or outside the venue. The flooring material is kind of a sports mat and the venue requests that anyone with metal racks/displays to please have carpet squares under them. Canopy tents are optional since we are indoors. No tables or chairs are provided so please have your own setup. Any and all garbage must be taken with you and disposed of.
You may not sublease your space to anyone else. There’s also no sharing of a booth. The only people allowed to sell or display in your area are those whose names are shown on the registration.
