Vintage EuphoriaWhat Is Your Name And Tell Us A Little About Yourself:

Amanda Niemann.  I’m 22 and just graduated from college.

What Is Your Business Name And How Did You Come Up With:

Vintage Euphoria

What Type Of Products Do You Sell:

Vintage and painted furniture, antiques, and home decor.

How Did You Get Started With Your Business:

I had a lot of free time in the summers and needed a hobby so I thought I’d try painting some furniture. I really liked it and decided to see if it could sell any at a street fair. I ended up almost selling out the first day! I was hooked after that and really love doing it as a side business. I hope to be able to make it my full time career in the future!

What Do You Love Most About The Business:

I love the creativity. If I end up not liking the color I can repaint it. Painting is also very therapeutic and relaxing to me.

You can find Vintage Euphoria on Facebook, Instagram & Etsy.

vintage market michiganWhat Is Your Name And Tell Us A Little About Yourself:

Toni Adler – I am mother to three sons, two 5lb Yorkies and Mimi of two beautiful granddaughters. I work full time and in my spare time I like to work in the garage painting furniture and making different home decor pieces from wood.

What Is Your Business Name And How Did You Come Up With:

“Mimi’s Shabby Chic & More ” comes from my granddaughters. I couldn’t think of a better name for my shop than to combine my greatest role in life, being a Mimi to my two beautiful granddaughters, and this new found passion of mine.

What Type Of Products Do You Sell:

Furniture & misc hand made home decor

vintage market michiganHow Did You Get Started With Your Business:

Making crafts has always been a love of mine. After going to my first market, I knew that repurposing furniture was something I had to do. I not only transform pieces that are destined for the junk pile into some pretty incredible furniture but I also make unique statement pieces that anyone could enjoy for their own home.

What Do You Love Most About The Business:

The thing I love most about the business is the freedom to create anything you want. I love doing the markets and meeting new people and talking with the other vendors.

What Else Would You Like Us To Know:

I am somewhat new to the field but in the few shows I have done my work has been met with much enthusiasm. I truly love to create amazing pieces and showcase them at vintage and antique markets!

Lula Bre’s Sweet Eats

July 19, 2017 by chicanduniquemi Leave a Comment

What Is Your Name And Tell Us A Little About Yourself:

My name is Melissa Pauley-Geimer, I was in the automotive business for over 11yrs. During that time I decided it was time for a change so I went to school and got my degree in pastry ( my first passion). I have 3 wonderful children and an amazing supportive husband.

What Is Your Business Name And How Did You Come Up With:

I actually took letters out of my children’s names, not only because Melissa’s jams sounded a bit conceded to me but every time I see my children they know I do this for them, so Lucas, Lillian and Breanna became, Lula Bre’s Sweet Eats.

What Type Of Products Do You Sell:

I specialize in hand crafting over 80+ artisan jams and jellies (made with only Michigan based fruits or organic and I use 100% cane sugar) including several hot pepper jams. I also make hot fudge sauce, caramel sauce, gourmet caramel apples and fruit bars.

How Did You Get Started With Your Business:

It all started back in 2011 when I was sick and tired of listening to my husband complain that the strawberry jam at the store was either too sweet or didn’t have any fruit chunks. So I decided for Fathers day not only would I make him strawberry jam, I would also make my dad his favorite jam (raspberry) for fathers day. I actually became addicted and within 3 weeks I had made 15 flavors, by July I was doing 2 farmers markets.

What Do You Love Most About The Business:

I love making jam and other sweet treats. I also love knowing that you can pronounce every thing I put in my jams, they are all natural, no preservatives or dyes. I love talking to people and my customers are amazing, I love knowing I make my family proud because this is hard work and I refuse to give up.

What Else Would You Like Us To Know:

I also make wedding cakes, personal cakes and cookies.
